So what are your thoughts on popular music of the 2020's or even the last fifteen years? To be honest the last great band to make an impression on me was the Arctic Monkeys back in the mid 2000's and they were clearly a breath of fresh air. In my opinion I think pop music since that time, has lost its way somewhat. Being a lover of the seventies Punk, post Punk Mod and then the guitar resurgence of the nineties with Brit-Pop, I really have been spoiled. That said, I think it's time for another resurgence and a kick in the digital pills of the so called platform charts that are riddled with snowflake dross!! Where are the anthems that we love and the band images we crave to emulate when we walk out our front door for a stiff coffee or a pint of attitude?
